Let this be a lesson to us all, when having "fun" look for an area without someone living in the area that owns owning a Camaro.

Good luck, I have never been able to get out of a ticket. My son went to court about "rolling" through a 4 way stop. The judge actually raised the fine. Go figure?

Oh geesh, great.

I'll be sure to update the post once I figure out the options & get it resolved.

Normally in SC if you just show up to your court date they will normally cut your ticket in half (points included)...

Ive had speeding tickets in the past, and I always got a lawyer and they got the Judge to issue a PFJ. You pay the money, but no points. thats the key. you DONT want those points. Hire a lawyer and youll be set. The money part though....no. Youre going to ante up for this. Here is something I grabbed off the net.....

A Prayer for Judgment or a PJC is unique to North Carolina Law. Only a judge may grant you a PJC in the state of North Carolina, and it is usually reserved for traffic violations or petty misdemeanors. It essentially allows a defendant to plead guilty to a crime, without having the plea entered against them. It is a win-win situation generally, because the prosecutor can count it as a conviction, but in general it does not count as a conviction against the defendant, but there are some exceptions. When a person is granted a PJC they need only pay the costs of court, there are no fines or other fees.

I think his ticket was in South Carolina, PJC seems to be unique to NC.

As of this year they issued a statement that showing up in court will not reduce your fine. Not sure if that is SC wide or just Lexington though.
