wow. what an ordeal. i bought the 2014 today. wake forest crossroads ford is a GD joke. so unorganized and just had to babysit these fools on every aspect of the deal. the sales manager was the only one with moxy, and knowledge. the rest are just buffoons.

so heres my new question....

STOCK, as is, it is faster than my 12, with air raid and bama tune. i used the middle tune, not the race tune.

this thing also shifts like butter and the clutch is like sticking your foot into a cloud.

this experience is nothing like my 12. did i have a **** 12 or did they improve things in the 14? i love this thing!!!

There were engine changes made in 13 as well as a slight change in the stock shifter and clutch. If you were to buy a Barton shifter it has a block that must be flipped if you have a 13+ and the clutch doesn't seem to have the same problems of sticking to the floor during high RPM shifts like the 11 and 12s. That problem is the clutch assist spring. Although the 13+ have the same part Ford did something to improve it. I still took the damn thing out though. You don't want to be going into a corner, down shift and the clutch stick to the floor. The clutch is easy enough without it so I'm not sure why they even have it.

That's odd how it happens to some and not others. Never happened to me on the 11 at the strip or elsewhere with 7 grand shifts, but I saw it happen to a guy with a 13 bone stock with the 6800 Rev limiter.
