Default Anyone installed a borla cat-back by themselves?

Just got a borla atak cat-back system and was wanting to tackle the job myself but I don't have a lift, and I'd like to know if a Jack and jackstands will work.thanks

Child's play......

Just make sure you have the stands up as high as they will go. Course if the catback has a split above the axle you can just hack the stock exhaust with a sawzall.

Easy on Jack stands....Not sure where you are at, but if you are near Fort Bragg you can bring it over my place and I'll help you.

Cool thanks for the input, just wondered if the over axle pipes would be an issue, now just gotta wait on this cold *** weather to pass.I'm in west nc.

Cutting them is easiest, but they will come out. I was using 3t suv stands so I had about 20" of play room. You have to undo the shocks and end links (don't forget brake hoses) to get the axle down far enough. It will press against the gas tank but you keep pulling on the axle down and it will fit.

Get the car up high on the stands and if any shock bolt has to be undone it's normally the driver's side.
