My wife decided that Winston-Salem, or maybe Greensboro is where we will be looking in May. Our daughter just accepted a position with Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer and will be living Concord.

Default Woodland Hills area?

Does anyone know anything about the Woodland Hills area of Winston-Salem? My wife has found several places that she likes in that neighborhood.

I lived on Lake Norman for many years and traveled all of North Carolina in sales and the countryside in that area is BEAUTIFUL!! I-40 between Statesville and Winston is the MOST BORING road in the whole state.......that's the ONLY downside I know of!!
Enjoy your retirement!!

It was great meeting you in 'real life' tonight Alan! We were glad you had the time for dinner.

Six more houses to see tomorrow. My wife is hoping that we will be making an offer on something before we leave on Saturday.

Jim, likewise. It was good to meet you and Pat, really glad we made it work. Thanks again for dinner, it was a great evening. Best of luck today, hopefully you will find your next home.

Guys, I think Jim and Pat are going to fit it well. They like two of our favorite things, cars and food.

We made an offer on a place this evening. With the holiday weekend we don't expect to hear anything until Tuesday at the earliest.

This place wasn't on our list - we happened upon it last night when we were driving through a subdivision that had a house we were interested in. People were out walking so my wife asked them about the neighborhood - and one couple turned out to also be from Michigan. They asked if we had seen a house at the end of the cul-de-sac. We were able to set up an appointment this morning. Went back to look at it and another place late this afternoon that we had decided as our other option.
