Well, my 14 5.0 has developed a very loud tick, and we know what that means. I have the Ford CPO warranty on it, but was wonder who you upstate SC guys and gals take your 'stangs to for warranty work. I guess what I'm really asking is, is one dealer better than others on Mustangs?

I'm sure some of the Carolina guys will weigh in here, they've been a little slow to post lately. Seems like some of them go to Tindol Ford in Gastonia, NC. Not sure exactly where you are, but might be an option.

what does a loud tick mean?

I am not sure what to tell you regarding work on the Mustang "Tic". You might check in with Upstate Mustang Club and/or Foothills Mustang Club. Both are good people and I am sure there are members who can share their success/horror story(s).

Google 5.0 tick. Mine was/is more than a tick, its a knock. Its in the shop right now awaiting the engine install. Geez, thought you guys knew about the tick.

Had to search for it. What’s the fix?
