EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!
I am extremely disappointed with my recent transaction with Cj Pony Parts. I ordered an item off of their website on 9.20.14. The item was listed to ship within 7-10 days because it was on backorder. I didn't mind waiting an extra week so I went ahead and ordered it. It is now three weeks later and I still haven't received my item. Since the order date, I have received two phone calls from employees telling me they should expect the item in a few days and that they will ship out as soon as possible. The last date they told me was the 10th. It is now the 13th so I went ahead and called them to which the representative took no responsibility and instantly put the blame on the distributor. If this is the case, there is no reason to leave your customers in the dark wondering where their item is. He told me they are scheduled to receive the item this thursday the 16th. Which means I probably wont receive my item until a month after the order date. That is, if they don't push it off another week. I normally shop with AmericanMuscle and have spent thousands of dollars with them. I figured I'd try a different website to expand my options. I wish I would've taken my business elsewhere. When I was on the phone with the representative I asked him what he was going to do to keep me as a customer. Free t-shirt? Maybe a coupon? Some sympathy? No. He had no response. If the item you want on Cj Pony Parts is on backorder.. DON'T BUY IT!!! You'll most likely end up waiting a month to receive it even though they list 7-10 days. I smell BS!

I've not had issues with them. This might just be an isolated incident not indicative of their normal business process.
Then again I don't normally order back ordered parts, but instead look for other suppliers.
I suppose if the price was right I'd order it, but 7-10 days seems like a generic/default timeframe that any out of stock part might show. If I saw that I'd contact the company for a real estimate before ordering.
Now if it said "Currently out of shock -expected in-stock xx/xx/xxxx" that is a different story.
Anyway it sounds like they have you fixed up.
