Default My Mustangs

I purchased this new on May 26, 1991. It now has 172,000 miles on it...mostly stock....even has the original alternator and starter.....heads have never been touched.....stock intake.....I replaced valve cover gaskets at 140k. Rebuilt the worn out suspension three years ago, thus the lowered stance. Still the original paint. Runs perfect, but rarely driven now and is a garage queen.

Just bought this last week. '68 Coupe, 289 2V automatic. This is/will be my son's daily driver when he turns 16. I plan on converting to power discs up front. Also will be rebuilding the suspension. Runs and drives great. I will be gleaning the forum here for info on 68's. The yellow '65 was a rust bucket that I sold earlier this week.

Yep, Diamond Blue. Hmmmmm.........my book says they made quite a few of them, if I'm reading it correctly.

Nice rides Man. I like that 68, it looks perfect. The 5.0 is exactly what I want to find for a daily driver. Hopefully that will happen one of these days. That way my F150 with 280,000 miles can be retired to the family truck. Its drivetrain has never been touched. I think there is a pic of it earlier in this thread.

Here's some shots of my rides.

Here's the '67 Coupe. It was my daily driver for a couple of months. Been "promoted" to weekend car while the weather is still good.

Apart from the wife, this is my other real love. It's a 1975 BMW 520i that's been modified for track use. Still sporting the orginal 2 litre motor but scares the crap out of M3 drivers with the way it goes around corners. Parts are en-route to Australia to boost the performance by around 70 hp. Runs coilovers, Bilsteins, upgraded brakes, bigger LSD, stripped, quad throttle body EFI, semi slicks, custom extractors, straight through exhaust, etc.

My first ever brand new car and I still have her. A '97 Ford Laser. Lowered, louder and great fun. This shot was my Dad driving when I got him entered into a track day for Fathers' Day.

I bought this one for the wife. It's a fun little car. Goes well and corners a treat. Hardly uses any fuel either.

After deciding the Mustang really needs some love and attention before driving everyday, I picked up this '03 BMW 330xi. Got the AWD so we can get up to the ski slopes safely in Winter. My first BMW less than 25 years old!

This is our "cruising" BMW. We used to take her out on drives with the BMW club. She also does double duty as my wife's track car.

Those look like some fun rides! I have always liked the older BMWs.
