Default Serious Question / Serious Answer

I hope I don't get flaming hate mail for this but I have a suggestion. If you read a thread with a serious question don't answer with a stupid post that doesn't answer that question.

I come here looking for advise and information. It's really a pain and a waste of time to see a post that applies to something on your car and then have to read through 10 B/S responses.

Maybe I'm in the minority on this but I know other people feel the same way.

I haven't really noticed that, but I skip the posts which don't interest me - mostly modification stuff like wheels, transmissions, rear ends. Whenever I've asked a question on how to do something I usually get good responses. On the other hand maybe I am one of the ones you are talking about. If, you have my apologies.

There are so many people that either like to hear themselves talk or want to look important and recite some of the worst information leading a guy farther down the wrong path.

You're right, there is too much horsing around.

Everyone needs to keep the worthless posts to themselves.

Don't get me wrong most of the replies are serious and helpful. There are so many people on here who have more knowledge and skills in their pinky then I will ever have. The one that got me tonight was a guy had a legitimate question and someones reply was to get a prop from a 80's Sci-Fi Movie to solve his problem. I think I have a great sense of humor and a lot of people are funny on here. Maybe I just read the wrong reply on the wrong night.

I havent really noticed it too much and I have always seemed to get good information but on the other hand I dont mind people with personalities. Makes it interesting sometimes but if it was all bs then that would be different. Just my 2 cents.
