Hagerty Insurance
#22
Be sure to read through the policy carefully. Many many "stated value" policies actually pay-out at ACV (Actual Cash Value) "up-to" the stated value. If you insure a $15,000 car for $30,000 and total it you get $15,000 unless the policy clearly states otherwise.

Prior to insuring my 66 fastback, I had my 66 coupe insured with JC Taylor for $208.00 a year for $30,000. When I went to insure my fastback on Friday, my agent check with them and Hagerty. Hagerty was cheaper on the fastback, which is considered to be modified and I wanted them both on the same policy. I've got $30,000 on the coupe and $40,000 on the fastback for $686.00 a year. Hopefully we will never find out how any of them are when it comes to paying claims!
