lookin at gettin a 69 mustang, has a running 302, the tank needs dropped and cleaned though its got bad gas and sediment in it, but if you pour gas into the carb it runs good with an auto tranny, original v8 car so all 5 lug with a 9" rear of course, it needs a little work, needs floor pans, a little rust bubbles around the driver quater panel, and a little rust around the glass but overall a pretty solid car, guy was askin 1800 but needs it gone this weekend for a new project, already said i can have it for 1500, im really trying at 1200, is it a good deal for that?

i think its a coupe, lol oh and true, im used to workin on trucks where the tanks get dropped haha, imma see if i show up with $1200 cash and a trailer ready to take it if thatll work, im hopin lol

if he needs it gone, he should. but before you get it, if your skeptical at all, take pics of EVERYTHING, and post em up here and we can see if we cant help at all

yeah ill try to go just take a look at it one day and get some pics of it, seems like a solid car except the few mentioned spots, and im building a 351W thats just dying to be put into something worthy haha

its a coupe, have you seen it at all in person? what does the frame rails look like, the inner fenders etc etc, trunk...

Rust around the glass doesn't sound good. And I can't tell if it's just got horribly dirty carpet in that picture, of it those are the floorpans that are going to need replaced. Either way though, the pictures make it look really rough, and bringing back a '69 from this condition can be hard because parts are more expensive and sometimes not even made. Of course, it could be in much better condition than it appears, it's just hard to tell from the pictures.

no i havent seen it in person yet, imma try to go to take a look at it this week sometime and check it out, he said the only rust was the floors and a little on the quarter i think, ill be sure to check the frame and all too though
