Too Funny...
Yesterday I was taking the boys (our 7 1/2 yo twins) over to my Mom's house for a visit. It was a nice day finally after being rainy for several days so I asked them if they wanted to take the Stang and they decided to take the Stang.
When we got in the car I told him not to mess with the quarter window because the rubber roller deal is off track again and I haven't had a chance to fix it. Seems like every time I fix it after you mess with it once or twice it comes off track again.
When we were driving one of them (on the side that the quarter window is having yet another issue) told me that "if you give me the Mustang to drive when I am old enough I am going to sell it...." so I told him that isn't much of a selling point for me giving it to him. He told me it "is old and there is always something broken, so unless you fix it up more...."
I thought it was too funny....maybe when they get older they will more appreciate that it is a classic. Or at least realize I have had it less than a year and it is still very much so a work in progress.
7 year olds are so funny sometimes.....we'll see how funny it is when he is working a grocery job, etc to buy himself an Escort...LOL!!!

I honestly wouldn't mind if they used the Stang as a driver...sure would be a shame if I were to give it to them and bought a classic Camaro or a FB to fix up :-)
By the way, thanks for telling me about Mustang Mania Nick...those guys are great and literally just got off the phone with them regarding a hard to find part I needed...they had one off a parts car and lucky I called when I did since the guy told me it was the last one they had on a car that just came in.

I think I talked to Russel on Saturday but they were trying to get the last couple of customers out and close up so he said they would call back today.
Not sure who it was that called today but he said Russel had to go out of town...something about going to see his elderly mother.
Nice guys and they said they would ship the part this time but I "had to come see them at some point"...LOL!
I would run out there sometime but Katy is a good hour from where I am at in The Woodlands which makes it impossible to do on a lunch hour and my weekends are crazy enough as it is with kids, getting ready for the next belt test coming up next month, etc, etc. Even have a cub scout camp out coming up in a couple of weeks.
