I have 4 hondas at the moment, but I put most of my money into the 96..
I have a 94 civic coupe which is currently being restored, a 2002 civic coupe that my fiance is driving, and a 97 Accord sedan. I am pulling out some rear quarter panel damage on the Accord. The 02 is nice, but the others are works in progress. I have them to drive if I need them.

As for fuel economy, I have been getting about 20mpg... I have Bosch 1680cc injectors.. It tips a little rich when I tap the gas but levels out as soon as the airflow catches up. Cruising on the highway isn't that bad fuel economy wise...

Well since you have all those Hondas, I would go with the Mach 1 provided there isn't anything majorly wrong with it except that roof.

Would you trade a half blind quadripilegic retarded midget for Eva Longoria?

If so, you have your answer.

You'd be going from the little boy's world into the man's game. That mustang will get you 100% more respect and looks on the road than the Honda ever did, and you'll feel better about it.

Maybe something good can come from you having wasted so much $ on the silly honda.

Unfortunately, you will have to deduct $2000 from what ever it is worth to compensate for that sunroof. Most people will pass given the sunroof and it will limit your resale options, which might explain why he is willing to trade. Based on that and knowing no other info about the car, I would say $10,000.

I'll talk from both sides of the street. I own a 1998 Honda Civic EX for my DD (just stock). My twin brother owns a 1996 Honda Accord (Stock) but has a 2007 ShelbyGT/SC for a fun car. My younger brother just bought a 2008 Honda Civic SI 4 door (currently stock).

Having said that I bought a 1969 Fastback Mustang (not a Mach 1 but also without a sunroof cut in it) for 14,500.00 (Now people on this website know I got reamed and I'll admit it) but I'm very happy to have a car that will turn heads anywhere I drive it (once I get it out of the shop). That Mach 1 looks better than the fastback I bought (again minus the sunroof) and has a 351W that can be stroked to some serious N/A horsepower.

If you have all those other Hondas and can get one running as a DD I would definitely do the trade. It's a great looking car and more rare and unique than the 96 Civic. The Mach will not handle or be as quick as the Civic in it's current state but it will be enjoyable and can be modified easily.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the input. I am going to do it...

I will just have to bring it out and do an inspection before I trade. Anything common I should look for besides rust?

That doesn't look like a Mach 1. Could you get the VIN number for us?

You can't tell from the vin on a 69, but it does have the clock, which is a good sign.
