Default Cleaned up the interior (Pics)

It started as a stereo install and turned into a bit more. I wasn't about to hack the dash, as it was done prior to my ownership and repaired. I mounted a Kenwood headunit in an ABS enclosure and painted it to match the dash. The dash was stripped, sanded and painted too.
I found an AM radio from a 64 1/2 that I bought, shined up and installed. It merely lights up, as it doesn't have to work. I recoated the steering column and the rear interior quarters. Installed a couple of 6x9 Kenwoods in the rear package tray with spacers. Not thrilled with the way they turned out.

Still have to repaint the door interiors. Been a bit windy and rainy here lately, so that will wait.

In the engine bay I installed a coolant catch can and a Derale fan. It's coming along.
Here are some pics

your interior looks sharp, nice and clean. If you want a cleaner package tray get this and paint it the color of your interior

I would also get these kick panels to put some speaker up in the front too

but it still looks nice as is, just mere suggestions

Thanks, I considered that route for the package tray. Is the plastic flimsy or sturdy?

I have the kick panels for my 69, rock hard ABS plastic. I can't say for the package tray though, fastbacks don't have them

I mounted mine in the rear and just drilled a bunch of holes for the sound. If you buy the right speaker though you can mount it on the top and have the cover on top and have it be flush with the unit, but I liked this way for my car and my speakers. The holes aren't noticeable when in the car

That looks great. The pony interior is nice.

What color is the car?

Im curious though, why you had to use the spacers for the 6x9 speakers. I have 6x9s and I actually mounted them under the package tray and used longer bolts and put the grilles on top.

I don't like the modern speaker grilles. I would make it more stealth looking so you couldn't see the speakers as much. You could mount the speakers under the package tray and find some smooth low profile covers to put on top. I was thinking about doing this to mine.

The car is looking really good.

I am thinking about doing something similar to what Tx65 talked about....mounting my 6x9's under the package tray and finding as discrete of a grill as possible to put on the top.

Here is what I have at current....

Does anyone know where I can find a low profile grille or cover that looks simple?

Your interior looks great!

I have the entire MP products interior in my 66 fastback and while I haven't finished the install, the quality is outstanding! What I have is ABS plastic with textured vinyl bonded to the surface. It really looks great. Here are a couple of pictures of one of the panels prior to installing the speakers:
