If and When you are serious about buying a classic Mustang let us know,I live in Oregon now and there is no such thing as rust like in the midwest,Mold is the biggest killer of classics here, I used to live in Rhinelander Wisconsin (Northern) and I know what kind of rust you are talking about and not wanting to deal with.
If you have interest in a West coast car a couple of us can go and check them out for you ETC...

Stop out on M28 at Rogers Classic Cars. I am not Roger, but that is where I live. If you have ever been to Munising you know exactly where it is.

Thumpin455, I can't believe you live there, that would be pretty cool. I go past there all the time when I go to Munising for hockey games and other crap.

I'd watch out for Thumpin, if I were you. I think he brings young kids into his shop and grinds their bones to make his bread.

Actually the bones go in the body filler after grinding, and whats left goes in a methane digester so I can use the gas to heat water to a boil. That way I can boil the bodies as well as make ethanol fuel from natural sources... everyone wins.

If you want to know how to do things that are required to build a car as well as maintain it, I will show you. Everything from body work, to electrical, to engines and transmissions. Knowing how to build your own transmission can save you some serious cash. The thing is, I paid for my education, so you would have to work on stuff I have to pay for the learning of how to do it.

Thumpin455, that is a very cool offer. As for the education I would definitely work on your stuff to learn. I don't know much about body/electrical work. As for education, I'm gonna go to school for Welding & Metal Fabrication. Actually this upcoming school year is my senior year and I'm taking Welding Occ. @ NMU....free college class if your in highschool and it can get you certified.
