5x4.5"

theres almost an infinite amount of options for wheels.

but if its a 4 lug then youre right, not many wheel options. 4 lug cobra r's are the only ones worth getting if you dont want to convert to 5 lug

He would still have to buy adapters and still there is a chance they won't fit.
4 lug classic - 4x4.5
4 lug fox - 4x4.25

I would just get some wheels that fit the car right to begin with.

I don't trust spacers any farther than I can throw them.

5x4.5 bolt pattern
Can go up to 4.5" backspacing on the front and 5-6" on the rear. The rear you might have to cut a piece of metal on each side, but I doubt it.

Check out tire rack, summit racing, jegs, discount tire.

BA is correct the lug pattern is 5 on 4.5.

15x7 4.25 backspacing is what I have on mine with Mag 500 and that is the correct backspacing for this combination.

You can go with a 16 or 17 inch wheel and still have the car look right. Alot of the newer wheels will require a spacer to get the right backspacing.

Also, if your car does not have power steering then I would not go wider than 215 or 225 front depending on the wheel you go with.

Personally I would not go larger than 16.

Here are some wheel fitment charts.
