Well they could spend... if they so did choose to desire... to pay an extra what... 100 bucks to have a plain valve cover ingraved saying FORD!... One would only think that is something that would be obvious to do...

OH Yea... That's right Folks... It's the Famous Studebaker 350 Chev Engine!... Very rare... Only one in the world!... And I have it...
Sorry... My little imagination running ramped again... "TV Has warped ma Fragile little mind" |
Sorry,,, putting DUMMY "BRAND CHANGING" valve covers on a an engine seems kind of like a "giant wing" "fart can" kind of thing to do. :D
Anyone remember those dummy "DOHC" valve covers made for SBCs back in the 80s and 90s? Those things were SO GAY!! :D Need an answer for the original post in this thread?? Just because something CAN BE DONE, (like GAY valve covers and a Chevy engine in a Classic Mustang) does not mean it SHOULD be done... (Disclaimer - My 55 Lincoln has a THM 350 tranny behind the 341 Lincoln engine.Mainly because that is what is what would fit with an adapter kit for a "late model" tranny). I think that this is different, an engine just seems to be part of the "soul" of a car, rear axle, tranny, who really cares, that is different.) |

If it was me only chevy engine i would run in my mustang would be a lsx.My friend has a 86 regal gnx clone we put a lq4 the 6.0 from a truck in it.We had to swap to the ls1 intake he has maybe 4 or 5 grand total in the engine and 4l60 swap and that regal will fly now.The only other gm engine i would run is the lt5 the 4 cam the c4 zr1 had in it.But a chevy big block is cheaper to build then a ford one.
