All of those trim pieces are repo.. And the hood is fiberglass too.. What sucks is that I didnt realize that the inner trim that wraps around inside the headlight housing had to be installed before I put the housing on the car.. So now I have to pull them both off to get the trim back on.

I keep the booster seat in the passenger side, and my daughter rides to child care next to me everyday.. Its definately my daily driver.

Noticed the palm trees. I forgot you were in San Diego. I used to go there on business. Nicest city I've ever been in. Loved the Embarcadaro park area. I think that was used in the movie Anchorman with Will Farrell. Looked at some real estate but when I saw the one bedroom shack on Coronado for $1 million - with a SOLD sign on it, I came back to Illinois.
Didn't mean to hijack the thread. Aw Hell, yes I did mean to. So there!

Its definately getting lowered.. Im going to stay with the chrome mirrors though.. I like them better than the sport mirrors.. These are actually 68 mirrors.

I thought about the side scoops, but I dont know if I like them on the coupe or not. Now If i get a convertable I might. But I would probably just go with the mach 1 quaters with the scoop and make it work..

Man, I wouldn't go lower, except maybe in the front since it looks like it sticks up a bit compared to the back.

Look at http://www.lateral-g.net/members/diaz/ the quarter ones would be nice but you have to swap quarters tho the sport roof had wider quarters on it.

Great shots of a great '69; a great year.

Cool rims.

Thanks Carlos! Youve got the ultimate Grande' in my eyes..

I still have the original lowering plates that came on the grande's super huge rear leaf springs if i want to go lower later.. They put the car about another inch lower than it sits now.

That lateral g car is just awsome!
