I am restoring a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 candy apple red with the blackout hood and a black interior. Those are the stock colors and interior the car came with. My question is there a way to tell from the Marti report or trim which color striping the car would have come with. The body shop ordered the black with gold trim striping but I was wondering if it could have come with and look better with the gold with white striping?

My "1969 mustang facts book" says that Candyapple red with black interior comes with the black stripping (which would be the black/gold). You can put the gold/white stripe if you want but the book I have states that it came with the black/gold from factory.

The title is "1969 Mustang Facts Book" and it looks like it's just made my "california Mustang Parts and Accessories" in the City of Industry, CA

it's a small book, basically just what information the dealer would provide for you but goes into more details. It covers all the engine options, coupe, grade, mach 1, etc, and I know it was inexpensive.
