67' coupe update pics

Default 67' coupe update pics

I got the floor pan in the passenger side. This is my first attempt at doing a floor pan. In fact this is my first time welding metal this thin at all. I don't think I did to bad at all. Let me know how I did.

Looks good from what I can see. Are you going to spot weld all those little punched holes?
How are you going to fix the seam all the way around, stitch weld it or just caulk it?

looks good so far, but you definitely need to weld it all the way around, the floor pans are a pretty important part of the structure of the car.

it does look good though, keep it up

Would you have to weld the top and the bottom as well? Or just the top and caulk the bottom?

well to my knowledge it's supposed to be butt-welded, not overlapped. Therefore you would only need 1 weld, and then you could use seam sealer for extra insurance.

here's a sample of mine my shop did way back when so you can see the weld...
