Added another pony to the garage...and 2 extras for the driveway
My girlfriend has been talking about a project car of her own, considering she watched me build my 73 Mach 1 from the ground up.
So, 2 weeks ago I went ahead and threw $30,000 on my 67 Restomod, and last night took $28,000 cash.
We took my 99 ram and picked her up a 69 Mach 1 M-Code for $6500 this morning. Rebuilt Motor, Trans, a 9 inch rear end. New floor pans, quarters, cowl, shock towers and trunk floor. Primed, sanded, ready for paint. The only thing missing is the front windshield...haha
This 69 makes it 5 mustangs I've owned, and the 3rd restoration project I've done.
Then I decided it was time for something new. Went to the dealership, found out the trade in value of my truck was $5500, then I added $8000 down and financed a 2005 3500 Cummins Ram with 22,000 on it for $15,900 for myself and a 2007 GMC Yukon with 26,000 on it for $21,500 for my fiance.

I've owned it since I was 14, my father and I built it from the ground up
haha glad you guys noticed.
the 69 is an M-code and originally had a 351W in it. He started restoration on this one, but even after he began replacing everything there's still a lot of rust.
If you see the picture of the back of the car, there is another 69 fastback that has the front clip removed, that car was originally an inline 6. He swapped suspension between the 2 because he wants to begin restoring that car instead because it is rust free.
I have the 9 inch, engine and transmission in my garage.
