Default Need help on issue with brakes for '68 California Special.

I am nearly done with the restoration of my '68 California Special. However, I am running into a break issue. I'm hoping someone might have some ideas they could throw my way. I have very little brake pedal and very little brakes. I have bled the brake lines with a vacuum bleeder so I don't think it's air in the brake lines. I've replaced the master cylinder twice, rebuilt proportioning valve and distribution block and still no pedal. Any ideas?

Even though you have bled the lines with the vacuum pump, you should still do it a little the old fashioned 2 person way. Did you bleed them in the right order?

Or even a nice slow gravity bleed.

Almost always, especially where components are stock, (i.e. no substitutions) a soft pedal is a result of air trapped in the system.

Sometimes it can be a real bitch to get out.
