Probably a Mustang II front end to start. Where in Missouri are you? I can show you one if you're close to Springfield.

Well the mark8 and cobra are really two different engines the heads and intake are different. It would take cutting out the shock towers welding in a mustang 2 kit a ton or wiring and fuel to get it to run.Or bolt in a big block have more power and more fun.

Some guys modify the stock wiring harness, others use Telorvek/Detail Zone. What year is the Mark VIII?

Tuning software lets you turn off the PATS. If you have a 93-95 Mark VIII you'll have to get a chip burned. If it's 96+ you can download a tune from a handheld tuner (Diablo, SCT) or software package like Sniper Special Forces. For near-stock setups, I'd recommend Sniper Special Forces. You can do the tune yourself and it's about the same price as the Predator or SCT tuner, and with them you have to buy a tune or pay someone to dyno tune it. With Special Forces, you select your stuff from drop-down menus - injector size, MAF size, PATS off, etc. and it builds a tune for you.
