Today cleaned up the seat brackets, going back to the original style seats. The brackets were pretty rusty much not rolling like they should so I took them apart and gave them a good cleaning/greasing... putting new black covers on them... keep in mind the cover is just draped over the not tightened yet...
Got gas, got my gas cap stuck on caught in the wire that holds the cap on. Was fun trying to get it off :/
Ha I feel your pain.... due to this thread I was determined to do "something". SO .... I was suspusious the vaccum hose to the master cyclinder on the Mach I needed up grading. Went to Advance ....only gas line so I opted to wait thinking i MAY have some hose at home. bought some heater hose because the previous owner had it by-passed and I discovered my water pump was screaming... looked closer and I HAD MISSED the bypass hose being crimped to the point no water or VERY LITTLE was passin through, was he that big an idiot????. So I decided to take care of that. Well while I'm in there I realize I need two more clamps. I search and search for the BAG FULL i know very well that I have...... no where to be seen. SO I look again and notice the fuel line which DID need to be cleaned up ie shorter, neater... cleaner looking rather than the mile of hose I had on just for testing. Ha ...it has two clamps on it that are too large..... okay I'll shorten that too switch clamps and two little projects done.
Now heres the funny I crank her up to check for leaks....its running like junk. I look at plug wires I may have knocked off ANYTHING...WHY IS MY CAR RUNNING LIKE JUNK....... I forgot that I removed the vaccum hose.....DUHHhhhhhhhhhhh LOL
