Default it IS a hybrid...

Saw this and was gripped by an un-suppressible urge to make it my usual parking spot from now on when I stop by my local Fresh n' Sleazy.

I like to watch out for the environment best I can but this is a total load my friends...on several levels.

So yeah now I drive a hybrid too it burns gas and rubber so go run and tell THAT!....hippie.

You mean gas tires and oil lol.He lives in cali there is some really odd people out there. The 91 civic i had got 40mpg with out the hybird junk on it.A prius weighs 3200lbs and the batteries are only good for 10 years most avg 7 and have to go to a special land fill. But the funniest thing to me is the new diesel vws get 40mpg+ with out the hydbrid junk.

A friend of mine says he can't wait to park in one of those - his argument: it runs on both unleaded and leaded fuel

I had a 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid (FWD) and thought it was great. It averaged 30 MPG, which is great for a little SUV. We bought my wife a new RAV4 a month ago, FWD and 4 cyl. It averages 28 on gas alone and probably weighs more.

I like to tell Prius guys my 65 Mustang gets twice the gas mileage as their Prius. It burns E85 and since E85 is 1/6 gasoline, at 20 MPG, I have to go 120 miles to burn a gallon of gas (and my Mustang probably burns cleaner than the Prius - 1/2 the 'greenhouse gases').

Andrewmp6- I have one of those new vw diesels and it is FAR better than those ugly little prius'! plus almost 240 ft/lb of torque is plenty of fun. Getting 44 mpg at 85 mph on the highway is pretty sweet too. Why drive a prius when you could drive a fun diesel? Crazy prius people
