idler arm problem
 

I bought a new idler arm bushing from the local parts store and put it in and it it lose as hell. It is lose up and down and it goes side to side a little as well,could i weld it on? anyone else deal with this. v8 car 65

I don't think I would weld anything to it. Do you have a picture of it? That may help someone give you better tips or advice.
