Default disc brake swap 71 to 67

Hi, am new to this forum but my son and I have been working on our 67 coupe for 3 years now. My question is if spindles and rotors off of a 71 mustang would swap out to our 67 ? If so, what would be the modifications needed if any. From what I have read, I think it will work. I think I will have to use the outer tie rods from the 71. Any info would be helpful.
Also, we are looking at using the power steering box off of a 71. Any thoughts there?
thanx

The power steering box won't work its different. The 71-73 cars used a gm style steering box is why.If you have the stock 67 spindles you can get disc for them ford only made one spindle 67 so even a 4 lug can be changed over to a 5 lug disc. The 71 spindles will bolt on just need the tie rod end to match the spindle.

If the 71 Brakes are in good working order, no, or few new parts needed, then bolt them in, and use the 70-73 387 outer to install the Tie Rods. Yes couplers will be fine as all are 2004S.

If you need to update the entire 71 System (Rotors, Calipers, Hardware, Shields, Etc). then it is about a Toss up.

The Spindles on your 67 are C6OA Spindles. These accept all the Brakes in 67. 6 cylinder to 428CJ.

You can bolt on the Stock 67 Mustang 4 Piston per caliper Disc brakes, keeping your spindles in place.

Thanx for the info on the brakes, it was veryhelpful.
On the power steering, what is a good way to upgrade to power steering without going to the "old style" power steering with the cylinder. I would like true power steering. Is there any vehicle that a power steering box would change over from?

I heard flaming river makes one not sure on any oem one that's will bolt on.Ford used the ram style for the longest then in 71 went to the gm style like you want but the bolt holes are different i think. But i would use a brand new one this way you know it will work prefect and no guessing.

"Old Style". What do you deem wrong/inferior with the original Power Steering?

Which, will function perfectly when installed correctly, Yes, Update to new again.

The transistion to install a Cut to fit, non stock system is questionable??

Why??
