Default New GUY from AL

Hello everyone
My name is Mark and I own a 65 hardtop 289 auto stock with no mods
and in need of some help can you tell me were the VIN is located on the car .
I know the windsheild but its had a new dash pad installed and they covered that one. The door jam has the plate for the body, color, alxe, trans and the warranty number which looks like the VIN but it states that number
is for the warrany and not the VIN.can anyone tell me where it can be found on the frame also on the engine? thanks

Where in bama?

The warranty number is your VIN, and you should also have 2 on the drivers side fender apron. 1 will be visible the other won't be. There should also be one on the passenger side, but it won't be visible either. The windshield VIN plates didn't start til 68.
