Default Alternator help PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I have a 66 mustang coupe that i bought a couple of years ago and have been restoring. i upgraded the sound system and now the power demand is to much for the stock alternator so i ordered a new one. i got a Mr. Amp 130 amp alternator the 3 wire style. I thought it would be a simple install but i thought wrong. if anyone has any info on how to complete this install please let me know

its the wiring of it since the old alternator was externally regulated and the new one is internally regulated im not really sure wat to do. I read the wiring instructions but they arent very helpful or im just not understanding them. there are 3 wires that come out of one plug yellow w/ white stripe, white w/ black stripe, green w/ red stripe on the back of the alternator and a single wire that comes out of another plug solid white. the instructions say to loop the single solid white wire to the white w/ black stripe, the yellow w/ white stripe to the positive post on the back on the alternator, the green w/ red stripe to a 12v ignition source that is only hot when the key is on. its all simple besides the green wire i read somewhere else that the green wire should go to the black wire w/ yellow stripe on the original alternator wiring harness. i did this and hooked up the battery and the battery will die with the key off something is causing a large darasidic draw i assume its the new wiring since everything was fine before then. if you know anything please help
