66 I6 coupe mystery wheels?

I would just swap in an 8 inch rear with 5 lug axles. You can get one for not much money. Cool Mustang by the way, love the color.

Those wheels are aftermaket, but I forget what brand. We had a 66 parts car that had them on it.

Thanks guys, so I'll start looking into finding an 8" rear end with 5 lugs, and figure out if the driveshaft would need to be altered/replaced.

I'm assuming with the u-joint connection to the rear end, the only factor would be the length of the driveshaft, but I haven't done much work in that area. Mostly body/engine/electrical.

A 8 inch from a 64-66 will bolt right in and can be easy to get a lot of people use a 9 inch for a high powered car.

I am not sure about 66, but I was able to swap a 4 lug axle to to a 5 lug 8" rear axle on my 67 and was able to use the same driveshaft.
