help-what is the correct sequence of the plug wires to the distributor cap-i added a holey 4 barrel to my 289 with a new intake manifold and three of the identification tags fell off the wires-i looked at my chilton manual but there is no explanation of the correct sequence in the manual

anticlockwise (counterclockwise)
either
1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8
or
1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8

depending on what cam is in there. so with only 3 missing you should be able to figure out what matches
