Arrow Value of this mustang?

Sorry, I know there a lot of these threads but I want some good input. I've been looking at this 1966 mustang coupe for a bit that I'm really interested in. I DO NOT have photos, my computer is being stupid, so I'm sorry for that.

The car is fully restored (100% rust free, very nice/good quality paint job that has a mirror-like reflection, new interior, all new electrical system, rebuilt 289 and C4 tranny, front dics brake conversion, TONS of other new parts) and all the work was done professionally by mechanics and body shops. There are photos from the restoration and it had very little rust to begin with.

There's just one thing....the car is over $24,000. Now even though it's a VERY nice, straight, rust free car, that seems a bit high for a coupe. I've seem other coupes with full rotisserie restorations that are a couple years old for $15,000-$20,000. Given the economic situation and how many 64-66 coupes there are, what does anyone else think?

not more then 15k a show quality coupe that never sees the road will not go above 20k.

now that being said, what kind of options did come with from the factory? deluxe interior?A/C? power brakes? power steering?

I would not even consider a coupe for over 10k with the exception of a K code.
Thats ragtop of fastback money.

There simply are not a lot of people that would pay $15K+ for a non-K / GT or super low mileage coupe. That isn't to say that those people don't exist.

24k is he high? Most of us won't go over 8k for a coupe unless its a k code or big block something making it worth it.These old cars can be money pits I have about double in my 68 coupe then its worth and doubt anyone would give me my money back on it.15 to 20 grand is a nice fastback or convertible the coupe is the most common body so it will always be worth less then the other two.

Apparently there are certification papers that value the car at over $30,000....there was a ton of money invested in the restoration.

Even though the car is beautiful, I'm going to pass. I'll find other restored, rust free coupes in the future. $24,000 is a lot of money whether the vehicle is worth it or not.

Thanks for everyone's input.

Give a shopping list of what you are looking for: condition, year, engine, trans, stock/updated, features.....I bet the collective motor heads here could find you some nice options.

I can take a dump in a box and make it 50k does that mean its going to sell?I doesn't matter what a appraisal says or how much has been spend a car is only worth so much.I mean would you pay 60k for a 30k car?Even kbb and nada guides are always off from real world market prices.Like i said the coupe is most common mustang body style made and there is a ton of rust free ones out there you just gotta look in az.My 68 a friend of mines grandpa owned it for years was garage kept only rust i found was the lower edge of one quarter panel.
