No telling what you can get for it until you actually sell. The old saw is true, "It's worth what someone will give you for it", i.e. it's worthg what you can get for it.

Some pics would be nice ! Do you know where it was built, and have you been lucky enough to find the build sheet ?

I just picked up a J code GT that I am putting together - good luck with your car. I would replace the seats and whatever else it needs prior to trying to sell it. It would be worth it to get it as close to finished as possible.

Let us know if you can get some pics up or if you list it for sale. Thx

Yea, very difficult to tell without some pics. Sounds like a total ground up project with some parts. If the parts are new/rebuilt or excellent working condition you can price the parts.

However, project cars are pretty easy to come by and the time and cost to actually get them on the road in nice shape can easily take $10K-$30K.

Is it a real 68 390 fastback 4 speed. If so their pretty rare, ive seen ones that need total resto go for around 10k thats needing sheet metal. Rust free depends i guess never really looked into them all that much. Do your reasearch look up the vin if its a 390 4speed fastback its a pretty spendy car.

A real GT 390 Fastback is a pretty iconic and valuable car, but we're going to need some pics.

Is everything still their like engine trans rear, interior, back trim panels, ect if its a complete car, and fairly standard resto. Such as need quarters, fender aprons, ect. Then i still think you have close to a 10k car.
