Default I stink

Hi all, I have a 67 fastback 289 auto I have done my best to make sure that all holes are closed under the car the the trunk lid is sealed and the exhaust has no leaks and the the tips protrude at least 1 inch past the valance. but every time I go out for a Sunday drive I come home and I stink like exhaust! any help?

I've done none of that and dont have that issue.

My only suggestion is to check air fuel ratio. I bet its running pig rich.

pull one of your plugs and take a picture for us.

The plug should be a light tan color....

A wide ban Air fuel ratio (AFR) gauge is a really really great gauge to install...

That's not stink. That's Classic FoMoCo cologne. Embrace the eau du Mustang.

I have had this problem as well at times. I have minimized it quite a bit, but have not completely narrowed it down. Sometimes its fine, other times I still get the exhaust cologne. I know its running a little rich, but don't think its that rich.

I'm guessing you've already plugged up any holes in the firewall too

Seam sealer and a trouble light are my new best friends.
