Default Kwik-Way Lifts??? Snap-on

I was looking at a lift for sale on CL and it's a Snap-on Kwik-Way. Any info on these as far as quality and parts?

IDK about quality, but it should be American made and a pretty good lift. Lifts are simple enough, I am more concerned with a lift breaking than wearing out.

Keep in mind, I bought a NEW lift a couple years ago, 9,000 lbs capacity, American made, delivered, and installed for about 3K. We had to wire it up, but otherwise it was ready to go...

That one looks nice and wide between the posts...if the price is right, I would take a look at it and if it looked ok, I would buy it.

Kwik-way, the manufacturer would just slap the Snap-On label and market it as their own. The good thing is that Snap-On is a quality tool company and they would not want their name associated with something that wasn't quality. I think with an old tool like this, it will be all about the condition. Was it abused, maintained, etc. But chances are it started its life as a good piece of equipment.

Well I got my hopes up for nothing. The lift has 9 foot posts, but then extend 12' 9" taller when lifting. That would poke through my roof. Crap
