this is for anyone that has used, knows someone who has used, etc. the chasis saver paint before, and i was curious of just one thing... how effective is this paint when used over rust and is it worth it to use? i randomly read about it in a thread when i was searching for something and it seemed like the person had good results but i would like to get a few peoples input on this. thanks

I'm using it on our car, almost three years of it being applied and sitting in the garage with no issues. Other then a couple known areas that I might not have been able to clean 100% as it is came off with a little oil dirt residue on top of the surface rust I missed. I have taken parts of the body I cut off that had the stuff on and I beat it and gouged the heck out if it to try and get it off and it didn't budge.

My local auto stores both recommended it as the local highway crews use it with good results on the snow removal equipment. They can have the stuff on for a few years in the harshest of salts and brine's before they may see it fail, our cars will never see that kind of climate. or environment
They like it better then POR15.
