Traded for a early 1965 D code 289 coupe this weekend. Not a lot to be done but a few minor issues to address. It has 80,000 original miles or so I was told.
Even though the sticker on the air cleaner says "premium fuel", the D code should be a regular fuel engine, as it was lower comprsssion than the 'real' 65's . I assume the sticker is 'wrong'. But it does look good, Detector!
or maybe some torque thrust rims from american racing cant go wrong with those but i agree it just needs some new wheels and got yourself a sweet ride!
