67, 68 convertible hockey sticks

67, 68 convertible hockey sticks
I am working on 67 mustang convertible. Do the boot molding strips of the 67 and the 68 have the same dimensions? I do not care for the snap style. If the are the same I would look to use recessed screws. If the same does anyone see any other issues?
