1966 coupe 200ci drum to disc conversion
Hello to all
I am in the process converting my front power drum brakes to disc. I am having trouble finding the correct dual bowl master cylinder. Most everyone sells and talks about converting from manual to power disc which means you have to by new booster and master cylinder but I already have the power brake booster just need the correct master cylinder. Any help on this will be appreciated very much.

What I am asking is to convert a single bowl master to a dual bowl with out havin to buy a power booster which I have. I got a prop vavle.Has anyone upgraded ther factory power drums to front disc. Any help will be appreciated.

I just purchased a standard 1967 Mustang dual bowl master cylinder and installed it in my 1966 Mustang convertible to replace the factory single bowl master cylinder. It was an easy job to do. I bought it from CJ Pony parts.

did your car come with factory power drums? I don't think it will clear shock tower?

Sorry about the late, late response. No my car does not have power drum brakes and never has - always and still is manual brakes. I installed the dual bowl for safety reasons after experiencing total brake failure on the road.

Well I guess not many have power drum brakes as a factory option. But if anyone does I would like to here from you if you converted to front disc brakes and how you did it. I would have opted for a 289 instead of the straight six 200 ci. Would have spent my money on that instead of power steering and power drums. But each to his own I guess.
