engine stuck
me and my buddy pulled his engine and when we put it back in we went to crank in by hand and it wont move at all what can cause this could i of put the trans in wrong

If the car has a manual tranny and it is in gear or the parking brake is applied, it won't turn very easliy (not at all) by hand. Could be quite a few things though. Why was the motor taken out? Did you guys rebuild it?

no we didnt rebuild it we took it out to put in some fender aprons and to paint the engine

What kind of tranny? Maybe the fly wheel is hitting something, or if it's a stick, the clutch is stuck. Try and start the car by the starter.

Do a search there was another thead simalier to your problem a while back I think the problem was the toruqe converter alinment.

yeah, the torque convertor was hitting the bell-housing, if memery serves me correctly.
