so what do you think of them? ive always kinda wanted one in my car but i dont know where i could put it.

Breaker 1-9, good buddy! I had one back in the day, but they are pretty useless now.

i asked cause me and my other friends that im going to college with are thinking about adding them, cause they all dont have a cell phones, and they are old school cool IMO

it just wouldn't be practical to use CB to keep in touch
with your college buds...

the CB has very limited range, unless your on the open highway
with no obstructions to block the signal

Yeah, I can't remember how far mine reached out, but it was only a couple of miles if I remember correctly.

yea, since the college im going to isnt your typical green lawns and ivy on the buildings, theres road going through it all and more then enough parking and housing. and since the entire county is the college, its surrounded by highways leading everywhere. so it could kinda be usefull, but not as much i guess.

I have one in my daily driver truck. It is a good way to find out where the cops are hanging out. I dont think I would like the cb antenna on my mustang, although it did look good on the General Lee

You could get a small antenna but don't expect to get too much range with it. My truck has two antennas
