water pump paint..
 

Just got my '69 Windsor water pump rebuilded, it comes with this grayish kind of primer, i was wondering if i can paint the pump Ford blue 224, and also what about the underneath of the pump where you see the metal plate screwed with 2 screws, is this paintable also or do i leave it as is...

I think the underneath stays bare and you can paint the outside if you like. I left mine bare aluminum to match the intake.

there's no need to paint that. You'll never see it, and it might tear up something.

Only paint what isn't covered by gaskets or hoses...
