Just put on some Ravins and you will have the rumble at low idle, yet you can talk to your girlfriend on the highway.

Anyone know of any sites that offer comparible data on flow, durability, & cost between some of the more major competitors?

Thanks for all the input so far about sound and preferance. The glasspacks that were on my mustang were connected to 2in exh and I thought it sounded more like an F150 than a muscle car, but then thats just my opinion.

Thanks

Just installed hooker comps & magnaflows on my 302. Went with magnaflows system with x pipe because I heard they were a little quieter than flowmasters. Also I heard x pipe give you a little more low end torque (I'm sure it is minimal) - Plus got the set for $350 thru ebay. I like the sound a lot. Sounds great when you get on it but at highway speed can carry a conversation albeit you have to speak up a little bit. At idle pretty quiet at first I though too quiet but after cruising around last night for the first time - just what I was looking for. Not obnoxiouly load but sound good when your foot is in (which is most of the time). With the hookers (ceramic), magnaflows and install cost of pipes - looking at $850.
