Does anybody know if someone makes a roof skin for a Coupe. Iam going to try and work on the rust repair myself and see what I can come up with . If its going to cost me between 1000 to 2000 bucks plus to fix it I might as well give it a try , I got all winter (3.5 months ) before I can get it on clean roads of salt and sand here in Ontario Canada.

ive got a 71 grande that had a the same top. its been here its entire life and it had almost no rust on it. its really hot here so the tops just dont last very long here so i had it painted

oh and it was kept outside

I wonder if those designers ever thought of the repercussions of those darn tops.

they didnt, at the time they probbaly jsut thought of it as a car to buy, drive for a few years, they junk, they probably had No idea it would become an american icon
