Opinion on painting suspension parts

RE: Opinion on painting suspension parts
Most of my parts came powder coated black and the hardware was zinc coated. They did leave acouple things unpainted like the shackles and some of the metal pieces that hold the bushings. I was gonna have them powder coated too but ill probably just paint them myself.

My A arms came black, I painted my strut rods, coil covers, and wheel wells themselves semi gloss black, and left the rest "natural color" as Soaring puts it. I think it looks nice. I would consider all black though, but probably not for a car that is painted black.

Maybe it's just me, but wouldn't it just end up chipping and flaking off anyway? I'm sure if you paint your coils, thru compressing and expanding, they would eventually chip and flake making it look tacky. maybe it's just me. I do agree with Glen, Leave 'em stock.
