i need a car apraiser please help me!!!!!
 

i was rearended and it looks like it will be quite some time before i get any $$ from the insurance company they are telling me it is only worth $5500 and i will not exept that. i spent more that that for it and i want at least what i have put into it... if any one knows a good car apraiser in TX please let me know. i am gonna need someone to tell me how much this car is worth so i can try to fix it. its in bad shape....there are pics of it at this site...... http://ltazz99.yafro.com

I wouldn't really know what its worth, all I can really say for sure is that insurance companies ALWAYS lowball their offer for reimbursment. They are supposed to pay you fair market value for your car - which is about the same as bank loan value. Unfortunately they usually offer rough - average wholesale for your car. Remember that you DON'T have to accept their offer, you can hold out for more (and often times you will get it - but not without apraisals of your car's worth that YOU have to pay for) but it will add a considerable of time to when you will get a check.

go to several blue book websites, enter the info on your car, and come up with an average retail value for it. . Then call the ins co back and tell them that is what you want, replacement value!

you really can't do a blue book....what I did was go to the auto trader and other place selling your car with simalair mods and see what there selling for this will give you MARKET value
