Where's it coming from

I was forced to drive the pony to work today and 40 mins into 45 drive in while stopped at a light I noticed water on the rubber floor mat on the passenger side. The cowl cover was in place so it didn't come from there. I could see no drip but when I got to the parking lot to look closer theres a little pool where the kick panel meets the floor. Just in casemonths agoI ran a bead of silicone around the window. Any ideas where to start looking?

I thought that too but it is clear, odorless and seems is at the kick panel just in front of the door seam.

Check that window seal carefully.

Ok Soaring I'll do that at lunch it's been raining all night and during the ride in thus why I left the cowl cover on since I know it's leaking on the drivers side. Luckily it's parked in the garage here at work so it shouldn't be wet when I go to leave at noon EST today. I took a towel out and dried it offwhen I got in while I was looking at it but I couldn't see any trace from under the dash,

I had a similar problem and would agree with Glen. Double check your sealer. I had two spots on the top of the outside seal where it was seperating. I, too, sealed it, but I continued to have a leak. Apparently, I hadn't done a good enough job re-sealing it.

GL!

I know that this will sound like an odd one at best, but check where the radio antenna lead enters the cabin of the car. Originally there was a grommett at that location. I've never figured out how water managed to follow the lead down unless it was comming in under the outside antenna grommet and following the lead from that point, but I did have that happen on my '65 about 15 years ago to mine.

Well I think my cowl cover is worn out. The windshield doesn't seem to be leaking but when I took the cowl cover off there was a little water in there. The foam going around the lexan was compressed pretty flat as it has been installed for awhile now. Think I'll try some adhesive home weather stripping and see what happens next. Thanks for the help guys.
