64/65 need picture of horn switch in steering wheel
Hi all,
My horn doesn't work. Not really needed as the car is loud enough, but would be great to get that working again.
I removed the big tribar on the steering wheel) and the is no cable and no switch.
And even if i'd run a cable, I woul;dn't know where to connect it to.
Is there someone who could take a picture from the inerts of the steering wheel ?
And maybe if there's a cable with a hint where the cable is going into the steering column ?

First,.....what month was your car born? The 64 1/2 had a horn relay because of the generator they were using, and the 65 didn't. Are you talking about that relay switch, or are you talking about the horn contact brush in the 64 1/2 perhaps? The 65 had neither of these.

RE: 64/65 need picture of horn switch in steering wheel
Hi !
thought 64/65 was same in this case. (no experience) .... It's a 1964 1/2 I have. But I have no idea what year the steeting wheel comes from.
-->Are you talking about that relay switch, or are you talking about the horn contact brush in the 64 1/2 perhaps?
that must be it so. Completely missing in my steering wheel.
If I take the silver tribar part off my steering wheel (the thing you actually push to beep):
- in the silver thing I have a spring which is basically for the tribar to come back out agyter you beep the horn.
No cable is going there. and I can't see any attachment (socket) for a cable here either.
on the steering wheel itself is no cable either.
That's why I was aksing for a picture of this to get a better understanding what parts I'm actually missing. Apart from the cable.
Thanks for helping !
