Maybe this is old news but check out this website for old fixer's
http://readytofix.com/
Man... lots of old vets... cameros... (notice the mustangs are gone at the moment) but it seems like there's a pretty high turnover... I'm assuming they get the cars from insurance company auctions but wow... you can find some gold here I bet if you know how to fix'em. (EDIT ~ 1 old 'stang under the specialty list and there she is) http://readytofix.com/Inventory/427_Cobra=for-sale.jpg http://www.readytofix.com/Inventory/65COUPE-2.jpg http://www.readytofix.com/Inventory/Z28-69-1A.jpg |

ORIGINAL: plainsmen other than not being able to finance it.... *shrugs* but if you've ever wanted an old 'vet or camero... watch them run..... if it still doesn't scare you, at the VERY LEAST you should get a detailed vehicle report (carfax or insurance equivalent) as to WHY the car has a salvage title. Come on, you guys have seen the carfax commercial of the toyota camry in 5 feet of water......."New Upholstery".........riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight |

They say... daaaaaammmn... lookit that old vet... What's the difference if he buys it like this... and strips it down to metal... goes through the entire engine... OR he buys grandpa's barn vet and does the same thing... |
