opinions on coupe
 

i want to buy this coupe that's for sale on long island but would like some input from others who have done as much work as this. it isn't horrible but ill definitely know how to weld by the end of this job. im 16 right now and would like to have it streetable by my senior year. i know the amount of work but im up for it. who knows, i might be end up joining thep.o.d. club by the end:Dit's 800 for it and it's a 67 couperoller, original v8, manual car with floorpans already with it.

If it wasnt in NY, and I had a spare $800 I would already be on the way to get it. if you have a garage to store it in while you work on it, that looks like a good starter, even if its a rust bucket bondo buggy. If its all putty underneath, at least you cant screw it up by learning how to do stuff on it.. :) If you dont have an understanding father and mother, and no place to park it inside and work on it, get one that runs.

wow its just about shadow time for that ride but the only thing between it and show car ready is time and 5 figures.

it's gonna be a nice little battle but im game and prepared for it, minus the whole experience thing;).running is out of the question unless i wait about a year or so and i can't. im gonna talk later tonight about the acquisition process with my mom and hopefully pick it up soon

Nothing that a little elbow grease, tools shipped on fishing boats,and fist full of C notes from different years cant fix!
