Where is the vent tube located on the C4?
Do C4's ever stop seeping?

I had a leak on a C6. I would leave a small spot when I drove every day, and if it sat for a weak it would lose a quart. It was the filler tube o-ring.

Aksi it could be the torque converter draining back into the transmission. This would typicaly happen after sitting for a few days. Replace the "O" ring on the TQ shaft and it may fix this. But then again this requires removing the transmission.

are you sure its not seeping down from above? If you are sure you could try replacing the pan gasket.

Did the new gasket solve the problem? Or are you saying the problem occurred after the gasket was replaced?

no it did it before i changed the pan .its a new pan and gasket. i tightened up the bolts till i thought they would snap. its better but still leaks at high speeds. is that new moroso rubber gasket with a steel core any good ?

check the pan lip and make sure its flat, use a straight edge.

check the seating surface on the trans for cracks

steel core gasket should do well at not deforming but it shouldn't take a ton of bolt pressure to stop it form leaking. You can try using a sealent like "right stuff" on both sides of the gasket. Torque to spec using a proper toqure sequence.
